Wayne Paulse
Director / Founder
Wayne Paulse is the Founder and Managing Director of The Finance Manager. He is a Professional Tax Practitioner (SA), a Chartered Global Management Accountant, an Associate Member of CIMA (ACMA, CGMA), and is also affiliated with the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA).
Wayne brings extensive experience across audit, private-sector financial management, executive leadership, and general management. After completing his audit training, he moved into the private sector to gain hands-on experience running and supporting businesses not just reporting on them. He has since held senior and executive roles across manufacturing, construction, agriculture, and service-based industries.
Wayne specialises in practical financial leadership, combining compliance, reporting, and strategic insight to help business owners make smarter, more confident decisions. His approach is hands-on and partnership-driven—clients don’t just receive reports; they gain a trusted financial partner who understands how their business operates.
Outside of work, Wayne enjoys playing squash and golf, and has a keen interest in politics, economics, and current affairs.

Lizelle Paulse
Compliance Officer
Lizelle Paulse is the Compliance and General Manager at The Finance Manager. She holds a BTech in Small Business Management, a Certificate in Business Analysis, RE5, Class of Business (CoB), and a Certificate in Leadership Development.
With over 27 years of experience across retail, food service, construction, finance, as well as the online and beauty industries, Lizelle brings strong expertise in financial reporting, analytics, business analysis, and compliance. Known for her professionalism and sharp attention to detail, she’s passionate about keeping clients’ businesses in excellent shape through strong systems, accurate reporting, and proactive compliance.
Outside of work, Lizelle values family time, loves animals, and enjoys her faith, painting, gardening, and all things creative.
